Customers can cash pre-printed payroll or government checks.
HOW DOES A CUSTOMER RELOAD BY CASHING A CHECK?
1. At a participating Walmart, customers can cash their check at any checkout lane (must be a preprinted check like a payroll or government check – check cashing fees and limits apply).
2. Then, they can load up to $1,000 in cash to their card for a $3.74 reload fee.
Important to remember: These services are not available in all states or stores. Reloads can’t exceed card limits. The receipt is proof of the reload.
HOW MUCH MONEY CAN A CUSTOMER RELOAD BY CASHING A CHECK?
Once the check has been cashed, customers can reload any amount from $20 to $1,000 (as long as card load limits are not exceeded) at participating Walmart locations nationwide.
ONCE A CUSTOMER RELOADS BY CASHING A CHECK, IS THE MONEY AVAILABLE RIGHT AWAY?
The money is typically available on the card within 10 minutes for customer use.
